R Swarnalatha - Culture of Pasighat Village
Place - Pasighat, the oldest town of Arunachal Pradesh, where the Brahmaputra looks like a very calm sea - the river is so wide there. February 1995. We had reached the end of the 12-day expedition (a joint Indian Air Force- US river rafting expedition). It was a humbling and wonderful surprise to be welcomed after 12 days in the river by Pasighat residents of the Adi tribe with the Ponung dance.
