Place - Arunachal Pradesh. February 1995. The mission - a joint Indian Air Force- US river rafting expedition. Those pristine beaches were our home for 2 weeks, a different stretch of white water each day and a new floor of white sand each night. One of the more windy afternoons, when whole 'homes' got 'uprooted', Sergeants K and S caught hold of their shelter just in time.
